At Affinity we take healthy living very seriously, and take pride in our cooking.
Recently support worker Mandy Berry, assisted Sharon to spend an afternoon cooking chicken, leek and bacon pasta.
Last week was Nutrition and Hydration Week, it was a great opportunity to highlight the importance of a good diet and healthy lifestyle.
Mandy helps the people we support at Affinity to make healthy meals from scratch using fresh ingredients, and Sharon is a keen cook who also enjoys baking cakes.
Between the pair of them, Mandy and Sharon have spent many a happy hour making meals for the whole house and creating new dishes for everyone to enjoy.
These activities help create a happy home environment and also support Sharon to maintain her independence and gain new skills.
